Te Hononga is a web series produced by Auckland Council and Waatea News showcasing and highlighting Urban Māori stories.

Below are six episodes of diversity ranging from Urban Māori authorities and Marae, to individual stories of success and survival in Tāmaki Makaurau. Te Hononga also gives insight to some of the city’s historical elements and iwi experiences, pre and post European settlement.
